Easy Summer Recipes

We are deep into summer, the days are warm, the nights longer and the humidity is high. There are many ways to allow your oils to support you in a practical way during the warmer months.

Today I’m sharing a few of my favourite simple recipes for these warm weather months.

Make a refreshing virgin mojito with

dōTERRA Lime essential oil.

• Crush some mint leaves, together with 1 tsp of maple syrup or honey and place in a tall glass with some crushed ice.

• Add 3 drops of Lime essential oil and 2 drops Spearmint oil

• Top with sparkling water.

Stir well and enjoy!

Peppermint Touch

Use dōTERRA Peppermint Touch in a multiitude of ways.

• Roll on pulse points & back of neck for cooling.

• Place on wrists, place on roof of mouth to keep travel queasiness at bay.

• Roll onto palms & inhale a couple of drops from the palms of your hands for an enjoyable journey.

DIY Popsicles

Make delicious popsicles using your favourite citrus oil. I love lemon, wild orange & tangerine!

Wild Orange Recipe;

• Blend 200 ml orange juice, 200 ml full-fat coconut milk, 5 drops madagascar vanilla essential oil until smooth.

• Add 3 drops Wild Orange essential oil and mix.

• Pour into popsicle moulds and freeze for 5-6 hrs. Enjoy!

Simple Solution for Dry Hair

Use dōTERRA Geranium essential oil to bring dry, dull hair back to life.

Add a few drops of Geranium essential oil to your favourite natural conditioner and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and towel dry. Not only will your hair look and feel great, it will smell fabulous too!

Keep your skin refreshed & moisturizer

In an 8oz glass spray bottle add:

• 5 drops of Rose oil (use dropper from the touch roller)

optional - 2 drops of ylang ylang or jasmine

• 8oz distilled water

• 1 tbsp aloe vera gel

Shake well and sprtiz face. To make this extra luxurious and refreshing, store in the fridge.
